To be ultra-sensitive on their next tours...

Stevie Nicks:

She was just a wish
And a memory is all that is left for you now
You see your spongy, oh
You see your spongy

Cinderella:

My spongy road can't take me home
I drive all night just to see the light
My spongy road can't take me home
I keep on pushin' cause it feels alright
It kinda works.

And I never understood why she was singing about “one winged dove.”
I mean, it just sounds cruel.

Actually, Mister Hectic, Stevie sang about a white-winged dove – and in 2020 she finally got to hear one:

For anyone here who doesn't understand that reference, Purple People Eater was a number-one hit fore Sheb Wooley in 1958.

In 1988, a Purple People Eater movie was shown on The Disney Channel. Neil Patrick Harris starred as Billy Johnson. He played the song on his record player – remember record players? – and a real purple people eater magically appeared. His name was Purple. He and Billy helped an elderly couple who were facing eviction. The movie also starred Ned Beatty, Shelley Winters, Peggy Lipton, James Houghton, Thora Birch, Chubby Checker, Little Richard.....and Sheb Wooley.

I remember when my son was younger and we'd listen to Kids Place Live, sometimes the DJ (like Absolutely Mindy) would warn parents that they were about to play the song "I've Got A Butt" by Uncle Jim. I guess there had been some complaints, but at the same time it was a very popular song on the channel.

That channel was surprisingly good. My son liked it and I didn't have to put my head in an oven. Good balance.
