Today in the mail I got a letter from SPCA International asking for a donation and informing me a "stationary kit" has been reserved for me. Of course I emailed them and asked, "You mean it doesn't move?" I wonder how many tens of thousand of these letters were sent out? Dummies!

And on the other side of the coin, I used to go to a gym that had rows of those cross-country stepper machines. They had a display and control panel which looked like it could be rotated, but couldn't. So they labled each one with "Displays are Stationery".

Maybe we should start a thread for misspellings. CNN just displayed this headline:

I made an agreement with a previous band member that if we ever made it onto stage as a performing band, I'd get a tattoo. But I never did.

Ha! If I were to ever get one it would be a very small "LII" for the Eagles Super Bowl in a discrete place. But I seriously doubt that will ever happen.
