I notice some frozen food items (pizza) suggest cooking the item in the oven directly on the oven rack... and not on a baking sheet of some kind. Do you guys do that? Or always use a baking sheet?

I'll do bread and things that aren't going to drip goo and grease and whatnot, but not pizza.
I don't want to deal with cleaning up molten cheese.

Then I imagine you'll all support my consternation about grilling pizza directly on the grates. Mrs Scotch has insisted on this several times, despite the fact that we have a "pizza stone" to cook on.

I haven't eaten frozen pizza in a decade or two, but I always cooked it right on the oven rack. That's the only way to get the crust crispy.
