Lest anyone think millions of impressionable young children saw and heard Kermit cursing at Cookie Monster, I should point out that the original sketch showing Cookie Monster eating the styrofoam faces that Kermit was using to illustrate emotions was part of Sesame Street episode #6, February 9, 1970. Jim Henson (the voice of Kermit) and Frank Oz (who had replaced original Cookie Monster voice Joe Raposo in 1969) filmed the X-rated version for the amusement of themselves and the other Muppeteers. As far as I know, the uncensored video no longer exists, if indeed it ever existed in the first place.

For your amazement and amusement, here is Cookie Monster sharing a video of himself as a baby, eating cookies for the very first time. (Spoiler alert: A lot of the cookie pieces wind up on the floor.)
