ok another moral question...i bought something from amazon for like $30, 4 days ago. i sent it to the wrong place but didnt realize my mistake until it didnt show up in my mailbox. i then talked to a customer service rep asking for a refund or the item to be sent again. then like an hour after that call i realized my mistake and called back and told them my mistake and said i didnt need a replacement or refund anymore and apologized for the mix up. meanwhile i just drove to the friends house where i accidentally sent it and picked it up. now today i see that they refunded me anyway. so do i have any moral obligation to tell them im not owed this refund? i already told them not to give it to me once so im thinking im just going to take it and let it be but it does feel somewhat iffy.

how many deaf people are in america?

a quick search says about a million but that includes old people.

im wondering because im watching the presser about those la cops that were killed and they have a sign language person there. and they do that a lot. so all the old people who are deaf dont learn sign language so they dont count and i imagine thats a big portion of the deaf population. there just dont seem to be enough actually deaf, sign language reading people to make these sign language press conference guys worth the effort. also, all tvs and pretty much every channel has closed captions.

just my random sunday thoughts.
