Scary landing as pilot battles high wind gusts in UK| Latest News Videos | Fox News

have u guys ever been on a propeller plane? i dont fly too often but ive probably been on something like 30 flights in my life and always with a jet engine.
I've been on a propeller plane several times. Usually it's to fly into a smaller town that doesn't have a large airport. Once I flew from LA to Medford, OR on a propeller plane, that sucked. We couldn't fly over the mountains so we had to go around them, and it was snowing the whole time. Terrifying 2.5 hour flight.

the smallest plane ive ever been on was from west palm beach to atlanta. idk the model or anything, and it was a jet, but it was small enough that it only had 2 rows of 2 seats each. ive always traveled coach and that one was by far the most cramped.

When I was a kid I rode in a 4 seat Cessna. Single propeller, wings above the cabin. Inside it was a lot like a car. We flew from Sugar Land to Galveston and back. I bought some Andy Capp French Fries out of the vending machine in the Galveston airport. They seemed exotic at the time.
