my second random thought. i was watching ballers last night and they had 2 scenes in a little club known as hoy como ayer. on top of that they had the spam allstars playing live in the background. ive been to that place like 10 times specifically to see those guys. they are in a part of miami known as little havana and thats kinda far from me but im a huge fan of the spam allstars and that place is their home venue. it was just cool to see them on hbo getting some love even if ballers is a dumb show that i only like as a guilty pleasure cause it deals with football.
hoy como mostly has more traditional latin type acts that im not that into but spam allstars are kinda a jazz/funk/jam band and thats my deal.
