The Random Post Thread

Today I discovered Digital Radio Central's Facebook page – with no posts since 2017. The page has 78 followers but they have nothing to follow. Oh dear, oh dear, what shall we do?

This is interesting. It looks like it was set up in March of 2014, with about a dozen or so posts - but no likes or comments. And then there's a single post 3 years later (2017) to announce that the site was down (and then back up). And that's it.

The page doesn't have 78 followers; the page is following 78 things. But they did provide a glimpse into the inner workings of DRC

The DRC Facebook page says "78 followers" – and also says "DigitalRadioCentral.com's list of followers is unavailable." Under "Mentions" it says "No posts or tags." Under "Videos" it says "No videos to show." Under "Check-ins" it says "No places to show." Under "Reviews given," it says "No activity to show." Under "Contact info" is the phone number of TSS Radio in Chicago. If I call the number, I'm afraid I will get a recording telling me "Nobody here."

We would delete the account, but nobody knows the password or the email address that's linked to the account.

I just want to know who the female staffer is.
It's actually Geddy Lee.
He used to moderate here for a while.

Okay guys I need your help because I think I might literally go insane if I can't figure this out. I've been trying it for like 5 minutes and I guess I have OCD or something because I can't get it out of my brain.

What's the word for when the sample size you've dealt with in person is what forms your opinion about the entire group?

I've used this word before and it's not like bias or prejudice or anything bad like that. Like if you've never seen a rock before and then you go on a hike and the first three rocks you see are perfectly round it's not wrong of you to just then assume all rocks will be perfectly round.

It's a word that makes you sound smart. It's like when I use subjective and objective or The phrase correlation does equal causation.

It's driving me fucking nuts. Help me out here.

Just thought of it now when I read your guys's answers. Anecdotal evidence is what i was looking for.

I've tried to figure out this answer with Gemini for like 10 minutes and got nothing and then I just randomly thought of it now that I didn't even super care that much anymore hah. Well I'm happy I remembered it anyway and thanks guys.

I guess my definition or my explanation wasn't that great because I made sound like I was talking about like groups of people only.

After all the shit I've talked about soccer, I think I'm a fan now. I wonder how my lifelong opinion of the sport could completely 180 in the time it took to watch one YouTube short?

Baffling.
