Not yet, but I listened to the preview a bit. I'll listen a little more, but I'm not generally a s.a.c. listener. They are fun in small doses though.

It's on Ch 802 online & in the Rock category on apps. They finally eliminated Tim McGraw channel(816) & Enlighten(805). I was asking if older Sirius radios were getting this on 142. Reading through some FB posts, I see that some people aren't getting it at all & some say it's in mono and sounds terrible. Sounds very similar to during the holidays when Holiday Traditions was on Sirius 143.

However, The Pink Floyd Channel is not showing up on my Lynx.

Anyone with a Lynx getting it or an update since April?

Pink Floyd sounds good on the Edge.

Enlighten has been on channel 18 Limited Engagements for quite some time. I would listen now and then.
I realize that. Wednesday, on the XM satellite side, they removed the Limited Engagement logo on Ch 18 and made it a permanent home for Enlighten.

On the internet radio, when they added 802 Pink Floyd Channel, they removed 816 Tim McGraw Radio(which had been off-air for quite a while) & 805 Enlighten. You can still get Enlighten on Internet channel 18.

Since this channel was removed from the satellites, all I'm getting on my display for Internet channel 802 is this. Sure sucks to pay extra to get this channel and get no album art, song title or artist info- SiriusXM really is screwing us on this :bigahh:

Many happy returns to Roger Waters, former member and co-founder of Pink Floyd, who celebrates his birthday today. It's also the sixth anniversary of the start of his North American tour of The Dark Side Of The Moon, which took place in New Jersey on the evening of his birthday. Of course, more recently he's been performing The Wall live, and this picture was taken before the final 2012 concert:

Atom Heart Mother
Wednesday, October 10 ET 12:00 am – 12:00 am
Atom Heart Mother is the fifth studio album by Pink Floyd, released on this day in 1970. Listen for special Atom Heart Mother factoids all day hosted by currator Jim Ladd.

"Us and Them" was an out-take of this album and would not be released until Dark Side of the Moon. This was the first Pink Floyd album to be specially mixed for 4-channel quadraphonic sound as well as conventional 2-channel stereo. The SQ quadraphonic mix was released on LP in a matrix format compatible with standard stereo record players. There was also a release of the quadraphonic version in the UK in fully discrete 4-channel form on the "Quad-8" format, a 4-channel variant of the stereo 8-track tape cartridge.

The cover was, like earlier albums, designed by Hipgnosis, and was significant in that it was the first one to not feature the band's name on the cover, or contain any photographs of the band anywhere. This was a trend that would continue on subsequent covers throughout the 1970s and beyond.

mikeargo, I was able to move the thread via the iPhone, but couldn't figure out how to rename it. I'll take care of it when I get back on the pc.

Time for Deep Tracks to spread some love around for our sister channel The Pink Floyd Channel... tomorrow night ... they're playing Floyd's 'Dark Side Of The Moon' from beginning to end to celebrate the album's 40th anniversary... and there's a full moon tomorrow night! After that, it's a concert playback of the band performing Dark Side live!

"There is no dark side in the moon, really. As a matter of fact it's all dark..."
