Whoopsie!

Well, I agree with the "quaint" part, but damn, that doesn't look like a three-quarters-of-a-million-dollars house (I know, you lived there a long time ago).

Yeah what a van lol! That little mini-driveway on the left is where my stepfather used to park his tiny 2-seater sports car. It might have been an Austin-Healey Sprite? Sounds familiar, but I'm not sure.

The photo on that real estate site is just a rip from Google Maps 2014. The one below is better, it's from Google Maps 2011. The garage doors actually match in this one! Maybe the left door had to be replaced between 2011 and 2014 because the owner tried parking their red 'Mystery Machine' in there ... but it's too tall and ripped the original door right off?!

Well, those garage doors look better. But overall, it doesn't look like it's been well cared for, in the years since you left.

That's a really cool little car.

Here's a picture of the venue we played at, last night in Old Orchard Beach

If you look carefully, you'll see that most of the band is on the stage, but the front rows (as well as the director) are on the floor. So, even with the director waving his arms above his head, most of us on stage couldn't see him. Also, the band has a purple tinge, because of the lighting. So from my perspective, everything looked really green.

The overall space is an octagon, which used to be a church. It's very reverberant, and also (I imagine) a tinderbox. No pot smoking allowed! It's also pretty hot on stage, and there's no A/C. But the crowd seemed to enjoy it.

With that crowd? Seems like that would be hard to control.
My neighbor asked me how many Canadians were in the audience (because they typically like to vacation in OOB). I think perhaps she was wondering if the crowd was smaller than last year. But I wasn't with this band last year, and I don't know how to identify Canadians from a distance.

If they didn't apologize to you, they likely weren't Canadian.

My son is very interested in getting a 12-string acoustic guitar. He's tried Gibson, Taylor, Martin, Yamaha, Breedlove and Ovation.

Gibson was gorgeous to play but out of his (and everyone's!) price range.

He loves Taylors, Martins and Breedloves. He likes Yahamas. He wasn't that into Ovation.

Let us know what he picks.

I've got one. I rarely play it though. Can't remember the brand (Not one of the big names) but I got it for something like $50 from a antique shop.
It played OK, and I did some fretwork and adjustments and it played like a dream.

Is that a PCB layout on his shirt?
Subway map?

They posted some videos of our performances on YouTube. I figured the Empire Strikes Back overture is the one that would have the most interest to you. Note how our director has to raise his arms above his head to be seen by the band members on stage.
