The Dumb Dodo Thread

This wasn't one of those Jeopardy! parodies hosted by Will Ferrell. This was the real program!

Haha, I saw the episode and joked that it was a record low score! He bet the allowed $2,000 on a daily double (even though he had no money), got it wrong, then kept picking $2,000 questions in the hope of getting back to positive. Then he stood silent for an uncomfortable amount of time.

"Memo to self: From now on, keep a can of Raid in the car."

To be fair if bedbugs are in your car they are also probably on you. The only logical solution is to set yourself aflame to get rid of them.

Bullington told a KMOV-Channel 4 reporter, "I thought The Onion was a legitimate news site. I swear! They even call it 'America's finest news source.'"

A police sergeant said it was "the one-week anniversary" of their brother's death. An "anniversary" is "the annual recurrence of a date marking a notable event." I don't care how the word is now misused – it is not possible to have a "one-week anniversary" or a "six-month anniversary" or any kind of anniversary other than annual.

Isn't it ironic.

That reminds me. Many years ago I heard about a man who ran over himself. Yes, his wife didn't have time to go to the market so he ran over himself.

Here is a dumb dodo who believed The Big Lie that Trump won the 2020 election but it was "stolen" from him. Then he heeded Trump's order to march to the Capitol and "fight like hell." Then he bragged to his co-workers that he "had a great time" and it was "the best day" of his life. Maybe he'll have a "great time" in prison.

A New Jersey man is facing charges after his UPS coworkers told the FBI he 'gloated' and showed them videos of his time at the Capitol riot

Did the universe kill them for misusing the term anniversary?
