The best and worst energy drinks

Several of my coworkers are abusive to Rockstars, Monsters, and Redbulls. One in particular often downs a 5 Hour Energy, then cracks open a Rockstar and starts drinking.

I wanna be friends with that guy! :boozin: :buttrock:

I've never tried any of those drinks..
OLD THREAD alert!
14 years ago I had not tried any energy drinks.
Now I like and appreciate them. On my worst days or my office days with an earlier alarm clock, they help out a good bit.
I slow sip one from maybe 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
I've tried several different brands, but Monster is my favorite because of the variety of flavors. I've tried all the current flavors, or at least the ones I've come across.

To me none of them taste good. I guess I'm most accustom to sugar free Red Bull and Monster.

To me "Favorite" means it does the job. That job is to wake my ass up so I go for the most caffeine per serving. I know there are others that have way more but the one I can find wherever I go is Celsius. I guess that makes it my favorite.

My mind works in a weird way:
Red Bull has a major F1 operation out of Austria. They have 2 teams and have won 8 world championships. That's all I know about energy drinks.
I hear Austria, I immediately think Germany and WW2. That leads me to Mauthausen, which then makes me think about people dying. Innocents who are murdered probably get angels to help them out. Angels have wings. Red Bull's slogan is it gives you wings. So I remembered Red Bull sponsoring a dude flying a plane through a freaking tunnel cuz planes have wings.

Yeah my mind is broken I guess but I took that autism test, I'm not autistic so who the fuck knows.

Anyway, Red Bull is single-handedly keeping the legacy of like Evel Knievel alive. The shit they sponsor is beyond belief bonkers.

All those crazy thoughts occur in like under a second and then I have to look it all up to make sure I'm not completely wrong. Turns out I was pretty on point with this one.

You guys have any sort of weird thought processes like that? I had to go through all that just because Scotch mentioned F1, Red Bull and Austria in order to figure out that I remembered what I just posted about. It's how I connect things in order to remember other things.

I might be insane.

After 14 years, I hardly ever drink energy drinks anymore. If I do, I'm with Aaron. I prefer Monster because they offer a variety of flavors.

Today my energy drinks are getting morning coffee either from Dunkin, Starbucks and Dutch Bros.
