It was and is fun to wake up to have football come right on at 9:30 am.
In years past that meant there was football from 9:30 all the way to the end of SNF at 11:30 or so.
Weird how today they had a gap and there were no 1:00 p.m. games played so there's definitely nothing to be completely riddled with melancholic despair about, so that's awesome.
And it will be the same thing next week when the Eagles take on the jags in London.

Trying to watch the Pats-Raiders game on CBS. Announcer Kevin Harlan has perhaps the most unlistenable voice I've ever heard.

CBS had to reshuffle their broadcast line up rather quickky when they fired Tony Romo.

So the Eagles kick a go ahead FG with :08 seconds left in the game. Should win them the game right? All they really gotta do is kick a touchback and defend for a play or 2. Instead they kick to a returner and let him run 60 yards up the field to set up real game winning FG.

Romo pleaded no contest to a drunk driving charge. He said back surgeries had made him dependent on pain pills and then "an over-reliance on alcohol." Poor baby!

The drunk driving arrest created the opening and CBS took it. Had his value not sunk in recent years I bet CBS would have placed him on “leave as he seeks the help he needs and will be welcome back”.
