Hanging a trash can off the headrest of one of your front seats?

It's around the headrest but the trash can is facing the back passenger seat. So when I'm driving or when I have one passenger in the car nobody sees it. And like I said, since May I think there has been one time when I had more than two people in my car including me.

Yeah I still wouldn't want that look in my car

Yeah, I can agree, it's a tacky look. But 95% of the time I'm the only one in my car. For $6 I now am able to put trash in a receptacle while driving and know it's going into said receptacle and not off to the side of it. So that's worth it for me and it makes me happy.

Seems like it would barely be noticeable from outside the car, and it prevents using your car as a rolling trash pile.

With the tinted windows, you can't see it at all unless sunlight is directly towards the windows. And here it is with the door open. I don't know if you're only in the driver or passenger seat it's not noticeable yet easily accessible to discard rubbish.

Rubbish is a cool word for trash. People don't use that enough.

We've never spent any serious money on art before (that I can recall). But there are a few prime spots around the house, that we've been wanting to replace some of the crappy print art with something nicer. Probably the "primest" spot is on the entry side of the center chimney, since it hits you as you walk in.

On a nice day a few weeks ago, we took a ride south along the coast, and stopped at one of Mrs. Scotch's favorite "just looking" home furnishings/art gallery stores. Each of the showroom floors features beautiful local art. And one piece in particular struck the both of us; not just because it was beautiful, but because it reminded us of one of our favorite hiking trails with the dogs.

We did not buy it right away. Despite the title of this thread, it wasn't a small purchase. Let's just say that we could've bought another puppy like Talia, or Koop's priciest watch, instead of this. Anyway, here it is, and it makes us both happy.

First off you're fireplace is beautiful. Way nicer than you deserve and almost as nice as Mrs. Scotch deserves. I love seeing it from both the inside and outside.

Dude that's cool art. Totally worth Black Bay money and the personal connection makes it worth so much more.

And that's the perfect place for it.

Well done putting it between those lights. It really makes it a centerpiece that pops.

Let's just say that we could've bought another puppy like Talia

Bite your tongue for putting a price on the priceless.

This is the general area of the trail. It's not taken from the same angle, but it has the stream going through, while one bank of the trail rises, eventually to a waterfall.

Is that Talia in between the two dogs on the top left? I can't tell.

That white one doesn't look like Penny.

The one front and center has a nice coat. When I get angry at Athena I tell her that her pelt would make a good scarf. That dog would almost make a jacket. Cruella Deville Style.

Oh yea, wrong angle but I can definitely see it. Cool.

How did you mount it on the bricks?
It's technically not a brick facade, because it’s real brick, fired and tumbled, then sliced to half thickness. So you can put a nail through the mortar into the sheet rock.

That's the two goldens. The cream one is the female, with Tali next to her.

At work we have those normal Cisco wired phones. A big part of my job is making calls. We have both Staples and Grainger to place orders for office and property supplies but they don't offer this:

that thing you put on the ear and mouth piece that makes it easier to hold against your shoulder.

So I bought one myself about 3 years ago and I love it. It's become such a part of my work life that I forget I have it attached unless I get sent to a different property and have to make calls. When that happens I miss it so much.

I just looked it up and as you can see it was only $10. This thing is worth $100+ in terms of convenience.

I got an E-Bike at WalMart in April and it has been great

Aren't those pricey?

Scotch already broke the rules talking about his artwork valued similarly to various pieces hanging in the Louvre.

To me small purchases are things $50 or under. These days a single videogame is no longer a small purchase.....I could get half to two thirds of my groceries for the next 10 days or I could buy Mario Kart World. So that's not a small purchase.
