That's actually a really legit question. Reggie White was recently posthumously inducted into the hall of fame which is really the ONLY reason I could see why Derrick Thomas was not inducted in his first year of eligibility. Thomas was an awesome player but never played for a real powerhouse winning Chief's team. Perhaps this is the case? I don't understand it. The dude had 7 sacks in a game and could have had more if they didn't pull him from the game in the 3rd or 4th quarter. Unbelievable.

I remember that game where he had 7 sacks. IIRC, he had one late in the game that would have been the 8th one, but the QB slipped away. He was an unbelievable pass rusher.

I agree. Start a new thread. Especially since that info concerns XM listeners that might not know they will be getting NFL Radio for free for two weeks :right:
