Cult is a MONSTER riff. I knew how to play it (quite poorly) back in the day.
I think Crazy is more of a killer hook than riff. Kind of a subtle difference IMO. Both are memorable and make the songs great, but the difference in skill is between the guitar playing and the song writing.

Melt is great and always takes me back. The 90s version, which I’ve repressed from my memory, is just bad.

#88 Megadeth "Sweating Bullets"

Not an ordinary metal song. The lyrics are the voice inside the guy's head. And the music is actually quite fun and bouncy, giving it a twisted circus-like vibe. The whole album is a classic ("Symphony Of Destruction", "Foreclosure Of A Dream", "Architecture Of Aggression", "Ashes In Your Mouth"), but this song stands out even above the rest.

#86 Geggy Tah "Whoever You Are"

I can't explain why I love a song written about thanking someone (in song, not in person) for letting you change lanes on the highway and catch your exit, but I really really really do love this song.

Obviously written in sarcasm or about a mythical person who does not exist.

#85 Simple Minds "Don't You Forget About Me"

When this song came out, I didn't really care for it. Then I saw Breakfast Club and it became one of my all-time favorites. Sometimes a song just needs context.

#84 Queen "Bohemian Rhapsody"

One of the greatest songs of all time? Very yes! But my #1? Bismillah no!

2 great songs. BR for sure is on my 424. DYFAM is or is on my **** list.

#81 Joshua Kadison "Jesse"

Quite possibly the only song (and album) my mother-in-law and I both love. Very 'Delilah', but it's a great story song. Here's how it would look written in 1980's Basic for DOS....

10 BREAK UP WITH YOU
20 COME BACK TALKING ABOUT HOW GREAT WE ARE TOGETHER AND HOW WONDERFUL OUR LIFE TOGETHER IS GOING TO BE
30 GOTO 10
