The CD "A Hangover You Don't Deserve" by Bowling for Soup has that. 17 listed tracks then a whole bunch of empty tracks and finally songs in spots 43 & 44. When you rip the CD, the tracks 18 - 42 just disappear and iTunes doesn't recognize them at all. But it still rips 43 & 44.

#98 Nine Inch Nails "Wish"

I think I may have told this story somewhere on here? But Pretty Hate Machine changed my world in 1990. So when Broken came out in '92, I bought it immediately, ran home and put it in my CD player and put my headphones on. The first track starts super-quiet and builds, so by the time track two ("Wish") came on, my volume was up real high. From the first "This is the first day of my last days" with that crushing guitar exploding right after, I was paralyzed. Throughout those six songs, I couldn't move. It was terrifying...........ly awesome!!! At the end of track 6, I sighed with relief... but then the CD player read 7 .... 8 .... 9 .... 10 ..... 11 ... I went from freaked out to COMPLETELY freaked the fuck out -- as it climbed higher .... 15 ...16 ... just silence! ... 62 .... 63 ... it felt like my CD player was possessed! 96 ... 97 .... 98-then it started making noises again. Two more songs not listed on the package as tracks 98 and 99. When the last track finished, I sat on the edge of my bed in shock for an additional five or ten minutes, reeling from the experience (no exaggeration). Best first time album listening experience ever, never to be topped.

I love everything on the "August and Everything After" album. 4 of them will either be on the 424 countdown or the **** listing including Mr. Jones.

I hadn't heard the origin story before.
I still love the song.
Rabin is fantastic. I'm glad he's been successful with the movie soundtracks, but I wish he was still doing music for the radio.

I still like it, and giggle when it's on.

I think the song would still rate high on the fun and quirky song list even if it wasn't about losing your penis at a party.

#91 Dream Theater "Pull Me Under"

These guys are favorites of drummers and technical musician-metalheads around the world. Not my usual listening fare (eleventy minute long songs of 'look at how good I can play') but this one is the cream that rises straight to the top. And there is a shorter version for those who prefer (and that one has a nice fade at the end, whereas the full version just suddenly and unexpec~

I was expecting this song to show up on your list at some point.
These guys are great, but maybe it’s the eleventy minute songs that are why I don’t own any of their stuff. I should.

The first comment on YouTube is priceless:
“My neighbour listens to this song every day. Whether he likes it or not.”

#90 King's X "Dogman"

My favorite guitar riff ever. Hands down. No question. Take the trophy. Game over. The band's vocalist: "That song, Ty (Tabor) said he set out to write the baddest riff that he had ever written in his life. He said he felt like he did it, and I agree with him." Me too.

My big two we're featured in my list.

Vernon Reid - Cult of Personality

Prince - Let's Go Crazy

"Cult" is a friggin' awesome riff. And a bitch to play (unless when I was 19, I was supposed to tune my guitar differently and didn't know it).

"Crazy" has an incredible solo, but I never thought of the main guitar riff as special. Na-na, na-na, duh-nuh-nuh nuh.
