As a non partisan contribution to the thread. Colbert was brilliant this week. Last night he had John Stewart and Elizabeth Warren on. Stewart went on an epic rant. Warren was more in control, but obviously still harsh. Colbert asked her something and then said, you know, I'm going to ask the Republicans the same question during the upcoming DNC convention.....it's kinda my job.

I'm looking forward to those shows too.

i like kaine a whole lot more than pence but i like trump a whole lot more than hillary.

i dig trump and want to see where that train ends up if he were to win the job. the only thing about him that im truly opposed to is his scotus picks. i think a lot of the stuff trump says is pandering and besides the wall i dont think he would actually push for much of any of it once he was in office. however i think pence is a true believer in his causes and i totally disagree with them. thats why reports like this scare me when i think about voting for trump.

meanwhile i just dont dig hillary. that being said i do like kaine from what i remember from seeing him on pop up on the news while he was the DNC head. but hillary wont let him do anything of major importance.

therein lies the problem. trumps vp will have a ton of power and clintons vp will have none. so the president i want wont do much or the vp i want wont do much.

also, if im being totally honest, a part of what me liking trump is about is just being a contrarian. everyone in my life seems opposed to him getting the gig. my family, friends, coworkers, you guys and all the people i follow on twitter or listen to their podcasts.

im not looking to pick a fight with anyone here...just my silly opinions. ill now go back to just posting dumb onion headlines or lite political stories for the next few days. just wanted to get that off my chest. :)

I'm no Hillary fan. Some say I can be a bit of a contrarian. Watching His Darkness fuck up a country would be entertaining, but I wouldn't want to live in that country. I wouldn't want anyone to live there. My empathy with them would spoil the fun.
