You've gotta read this guy's rationale, because he's "not banning Muslims at all". Haha! He says that people started taking the sign the wrong way. I wonder why?

"I didn't want to put 'terrorist' on the board, so we were going to put 'Muslim extremist,' but we didn't have room...People started taking it the wrong way and thinking we were against Muslims in general and we're not, quite the opposite. We are not racist."

something like:

melania: that old rich guy is marriage material.
bill: id gladly lie about doing depraved things involving a cigar with her.

That's an interesting chart.
Tracking the number of vetos by president and the number that were overturned by each is fascinating, and not what I expected for how polarized things have been lately.

also, good ol harry reid, obamas ride or die. the 1 in the overwhelming 97-1 vote. i guess he wanted to show loyalty till the end.
I heard that both Tim Kaine and Bernie Sanders skipped the vote, probably because both are associated with Hillary's campaign.

As for the issue, on the surface, it seems inexplicable that Obama would veto it. But upon further inspection, it will allow other countries to sue the US, and since we're the world's police, there's a lot of suing to be had. Just about 2 weeks ago, the US accidentally bombed some Syrian civilians.
