This story took an interesting turn:

I figured it was just some rando who shot Prez's doc, not some guy who has been plotting it for 21 years ever since the doc "killed" his mom.

The idea that he is still at large using the same bike as his getaway vehicle is funny:

An arrest warrant for a single count of murder was issued at 4am on Wednesday. His whereabouts remains unknown but he is thought to be traveling on his 10-speed bicycle.

It always sounded like a hit to me, and I suspected it was related to a past patient. My dad's family always blamed DeBakey for my grandfather's death.
 
How far could he go on a 10-speed bike that they can't find him? And who still has a 10-speed bike? And why did they feel that the number of speeds was pertinent to the story?

I thought that was a generic term for bikes that serious bikers ride.

I just found out the guy that killed Bush's doctor lives in my neighborhood. Also, both he and the doctor had their bikes serviced at Planetary Cycles, where I buy my bikes.

The first lesson: Keep it secret, otherwise you're just an agent.
Second lesson: It's easier to stick to the first lesson, if you don't get drunk and blabber about your job to your friends.
Third lesson: Fark up lesson 1 or 2, and we poison you till you're deadski.
