I like how southwestern ppl seem to have fences made of cinderblock. I've noticed it a bunch in the Vegas area. Seems safer than a normal fence. Also u may have mentioned it b4 but is that turf? Grass seems like a real commitment to keep alive when you live in a dessert.

I like the the cinderblock fences, it does feel a bit safer and more privacy. There are still quite a few houses that still have a wooden fence, but they never maintain it very well.
That's turf in my backyard, it only looks good after a rainstorm. I know the turf is about 10 years old and needs replacing. One day we plan on redoing the backyard adding trees, plants, new turf, rocks, etc.

I thought his partner had a dog and anytime he refered to his dog it was the collective dog of him and his partner. But yes, I would probably fail a DRC quiz.

Since Doug failed at the exam, scotch is correct. We have 2 dogs, they are both mix mutt breads.
My partner dog is Ginger and she is almost 3 years old.
Mine is Lexi which is about 1 1/2 now. I know what type of mix breed she is and it's an Boxherd, aka Australian Sheppard/Boxer.

Yes, seeing if the dogs got along was a major event here at DRC. Right up there with having my pantry window installed.
The pantry window saga was the pinnacle of my drc membership. I'm glad the pups get along but come on, don't downplay such a momentous event. It is beyond comparison.

There was a more than 0% chance I could have been alligator food.
Also alligators are basically dinosaurs so if I go out getting eaten by a dinosaur it's a solid Spielberg tale coming true irl.
None of this compares to the majesty of the pantry window though. That was truly a glorious moment for us all. It will live in infamy.
