Also the carbon one is cool cause it is monocoque, meaning the case and back cover are a single, unified structure.

This isn't even what I wanted to talk about in this post but I remember calling a watch case monocoque made Scotch grumpy like a year or two ago so I wanted to see if it still does. Hahahaha.

Anyway, I have the 2 MR-G Squares that are titanium and other fancy metals and they can scratch so I would never wear them to work. I wear the raw titanium looking one more and I save the black titanium one for when I want to feel fancy.

The forged carbon one, while crazy expensive, was half the price of the MR-G's (and even less cause I got this new to me one used) is far more durable. Carbon doesn't show scratches so I'm happy to wear it to work. You really need to take a chunk out of the carbon for it to show any wear. And it's the only non MR-G Square to have sapphire glass so I'm not worried about scratching the crystal.

It's fun to get to wear a fancy watch to work.

I'm a loose watch boy these days.

That's a new development. I've always liked wearing my watches below the bone but now I like it loose below the bone.

This is the new way I wear my watches:

You f'ing two-timing bastard! You said, you are in love with me and I see you are wearing a wedding finger on the wrong finger. :p

The only reason that I don’t like loose watches is that the face always rolls over to the wrong side of my wrist. It’s either bumping into things, or impossible to read.

Holy FUCK that Mille is so thin! good God!

This is what's on my radar lately:

It's got that chime and also awesome lume. I'm kinda obsessed with it.

But I try to remember I have enough mechanical watches and I love Squares.

What a great video Scotch, great post!!!!!!!!

But they should have mentioned the Japanese more than just for quartz, they are every bit as good as the Swiss at mechanical.

Also is so true a watch should not be an investment, it should be enjoyed.

Over the weekend, I almost bought a new watch. I’ve been looking at a couple of specific models, and one that really caught my eye was the Citizen Tsuki-yomi A-T. The watch represents the moon’s face, and at the store I saw both the silver and the blue versions. I was leaning toward the silver one, but the saleslady said the blue was much prettier.

In the past, I probably would have pulled the trigger and bought it. Plus, I’ve already seen quite a few silver bands with blue faces. Lately, though, I’ve wanted to be different and own styles that other people wouldn’t normally choose.

I told the saleslady that I’d be back later. She replied, “Okay, I’ll put these on hold.” I told her not to, and technically, I never went back. I wanted to do more research on the watch.

There are quite a few features I like. One is that it tells you how much power is left before it needs to be recharged using the Eco-Drive feature. It also shows when the moon rises and sets in your area. On Citizen’s website, I saw other watch face colors, like red and purple, which represent the blood moon. There isn’t an exact term for a purple moon, aside from atmospheric effects in the air.

After seeing pictures and videos online, I realized that I really like those colors. However, I prefer to see them in person, as that would help me make a more confident decision rather than relying solely on a website. The watch is currently on sale, with today being the last day. Still, I believe it will likely go on sale again at some point in the future.

OH H.....EYE OH
I have a question somewhat related to this thread. How accurate are the sleep scores you get on a smart watch? I would say they are somewhat accurate.

I just got a cheap smart watch ($35) about two months ago. The first time I have ever worn a wrist watch. lol.

I would assume they might be somewhat accurate. I used to own an Apple Watch, and I know it has a sleep-tracking feature. I believe I could program it for Sleep Mode, but I never used it. With my luck, I would probably receive an email, text, or some kind of notification during the night, which would wake me up.

Hopefully, that cheap watch can give you some good, accurate data.

Hhhhhooooowwwwwlllllll, I decided to purchase the blood red moon Citizen Tsuki-yomi A-T watch.

After watching several YouTube reviews of this watch, I decided to look for it in person. Yesterday after work, I was able to track down another color option at a different jewelry store. The Citizen website describes the dial as red, but in person it looks more like purple. Under the right lighting or direct sunlight, you can definitely see the red tones that represent the blood red moon. Either way, purple has become one of my favorite colors, and I absolutely love this watch.

This is also the most expensive watch I’ve ever owned. Being a jew, I managed to find a great deal and saved nearly $250 on it. One awesome feature is the lower button, which shows the remaining battery life. Using the crown is just as impressive pull it out once, set the correct time zone, and the watch literally sets itself with the exact time and date.

Since Arizona doesn’t observe Daylight Saving Time, I occasionally need to adjust the time zone, but it only takes a few seconds. The watch uses atomic timekeeping, receiving signals from radio transmitters in Fort Collins, USA, to automatically update the time and date daily.

Thanks to the Super Titanium construction, the watch is incredibly light. I barely feel any weight on my wrist at all.

Yes, I am a hairy wolf jew. :p

This is a cool brand that makes some fun, different timepieces:

At first I was really interested in this one:

Because it's the full lume with the tritium tubes but the thing is HUGE.

No I have my eye on this one:

They have some cool jump hour watches but I need a second hand and none of them have one.

Oh and I bought this one:

It's my first ever pre-order watch (I won't get it until May). It's my first ever pink dial. It's my first ever jubilee bracelet, and it's my first ever HAQ. So lots of firsts.

Also it's High Accuracy Quartz so it's +/- 10 seconds per year with a display caseback which I think is cool for a quartz. And it's the mocrobrand from the guy behind Just One More Watch. Some expat Scottish, now Aussie reviewer I've been watching for years.

I like the idea of adding a pink watch to my regular rotation. If I'm being real I dig how pink is gay for dudes but i don't care if ppl think that Abt me, I'm gonna go home and bang a hot teacher. Fuck you. I just think this dial is cool. Something about that is attractive to me. I'm explaining it like a caveman but you get my jist right?

Holy shit that's a cool watch man. I love the complications. I've never had a true Moon phase. Was that annoying to set? I see it's a perpetual calendar so it's set once and forget which is awesome. I've also never had a perpetual calendar before, besides my digital squares so that's also really cool!!!!!

The "Blood Moon" dial color is awesome!

Titanium is great too. Besides the weight, that metal also stays way cooler than stainless.

Being a jew, I managed to find a great deal and saved nearly $250 on it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. So you're saying you "Jew'ed them down"?

That's inappropriate and offensive Wolf.
