Gee, I took a picture just like Wolf's (I like your collection - nice variety). BTW, in an attempt to dispel some of the perceived geekiness of all this, I'd like to note that I just received the watch box on Father's day. I won't list each one, it's a variety of swiss and japanese, some quartz, some automatic (mechanical).

Thanks and you have a nice collection, I like the Edox and Tag watches. I bet the only suck part of owning so many is changing them all when daylights savings comes around and months with 30/31 days.

Oh that for sure, that why I try to buy solar watches now. No more buying batteries, just use natural or indoor light to power the watch.

When I had just 1 automatic watch, I kept it on a winder so it was always running. But once you get 2, 3 or more automatics, there's no point in keeping them all running (plus they run fast over time anyway). So if I wear one of those, I just set the time and date when I put it on. Most of my quartz watches go for several years on a battery, I honestly haven't had to replace the battery on more than 1 or 2 of them.

The vintage Seiko chrono (blue with red on part of the bezel ring) is the biggest pain, as the day and date are both set by pushing the crown in, slightly in for the date, further in for the day. Also, the day wheel alternates between english and spanish, so when you advance 1 day (keeping it in english), the date advances twice.

On the other hand, the black/ orange Hamilton chrono actually facilitates setting daylight savings time. You can advance the hour hand separately from the others. Just in case you were wondering. ;)

I've got 19 watches in the collection dating back to the mid 1980's. With most of them being more on the inexpensive side (under $150) it seems like I'm changing a battery or two every few months.

Thanks, I those 2 watches are Seiko watches. I got the brown leather band one over the weekend and the other is a very thin case. It not thick like the rest of my other watches.

I usually don't keep my Apple Watch in that case, I have a charging stand for it. I got tired of wearing it and it been turned off for couple of weeks now. Plus I miss wearing my old watches, so I probably will get couple more down the road.
