SiriusXM Channel Lineup Changes: Howard Stern, Radio Andy, and More

Among the most notable changes, Radio Andy moves from Ch. 102 to Ch. 101, while Howard 100 remains on Ch. 100 and Howard 101 leaves the lineup. Sebastian Maniscalco’s Comedy Radio moves to Ch. 102, Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud Radio to Ch. 103, Conan O’Brien Radio to Ch. 104, Netflix Is A Joke Radio to Ch. 105, Comedy Roundup to Ch. 106, Comedy Central Radio to Ch. 107, Comedy Greats to Ch. 108, and Pure Comedy to Ch. 109.

Sports listeners will also find several channels at new locations, including SiriusXM FC on Ch. 188 and VSiN on Ch. 189, while several local sports stations join the satellite lineup on Chs. 94–99.

H100 is about to become H101. 99% not-new content

I have zero inside sources, but I think Howard has wanted (or not minded) to retire for a few years now.

2020 was the thing with the dates and Marianne from Brooklyn. I'd like to think he got his "arm twisted" (to borrow a phrase) due to COVID and the election. Of course there's an election in 2028, but considering he's down to one channel and maybe one day, I guess time will tell.

Agreed. I think he was going to retire last fall, but the news started reporting how he was being 'forced to quit' and 'had to quit because of less listeners' etc and he wasn't gonna exit like that. So the Andy Cohen gag, in my opinion, was him making believe his plans to retire were untrue, when it was true.... until he felt obligated to prove that he wasn't being put out to pasture because of poor performance.

Some of that was (probably? definitely?) Robin wanting something positive in her life during her cancer battle. He's said a few times that if Robin wanted out, he would have retired.

I think Bubba shooting himself in the foot with the "dog piss jones" contract he was offered in late 2010 was sort of the beginning of the unexpected twists.

Deep inside, I'd like to think Howard wanted to give more time to Bubba while fading out.

I wouldn't have minded this:
Bubba from 6-10.
Bubba Wrap-Up from 10-11.
Classic Howard from 11-3.
Bubba replay from 3-7.
Various shows from 7-8.
Scott Ferrall from 8-end (give him the option to go late)
Classic Howard segments from midnight-6.

Saturday/Sunday:
Special shows, listener request stuff, classic Howard, etc.
