My plea to callers for the first day back.

What's really funny about the "History of Stern" is that it also let us hear that Howard not only always had bonehead callers (he ragged on Ralph for being a douche and doing everything wrong the first time) but for some reason he felt the need to be super dependent on them (but he would rip into them more quickly).

Also, judging from MTTs, Howard used to really be dependent on the callers back in the day for feedback on bits they just played as well as everything else they were doing. NOW it is unsaid.
 
Howard will take a call or two about HHS2. But I think he will move quickly to attacking Jay Leno and talking about the comment that Leno made in an interview to the effect that Howard was no longer culturally relevant now that he is on satellite. Something tells me that this comment has been eating away at Howard for a while now. Just a hunch.
 
Maybe Monday they will have some fresh new guests, like Lisa Lampinelli, Joan Rivers, and Beetlejuice!
