Following Tucker's signing, DraftKings Network now has the Dodgers +250 favorites to win the 2026 World Series. FanDuel Sportsbook gives the Dodgers better odds, +220. Next on FanDuel's list are the Yankees at +1000, Mariners at +1300, Phillies at +1300, Blue Jays at +1400, Braves at +1400 and Astros at +1500.
110% They are paying 10% if that to Luxury Tax. It would be so satisfying if they have that payroll and miss the playoffs.

In our town, we have Flo's Steamed Hot Dogs. It's a little hole in the wall that's become a regional favorite. Some cranky old lady (Flo) still makes them. She's a bit like the soup nazi.

Last year, there were free Cactus League games on Amazon. I would watch an inning or two. But not this year.

Every March for many years Teri and I would spend a week in Peoria, Arizona, and go to Mariners exhibition games. That was her favorite team. She would have been so happy to see the Mariners in the 2025 ALCS – but disappointed that they lost to the Blue Jays. I really miss her. Here are the Cactus League standings. The Dodgers have used Will Smith, Freddie Freeman and Teoscar Hernández in a few games but most of the players are minor leaguers. Smith, Freeman and Hernández did not play today. Almost every Dodger in the game – eight pitchers, two catchers, 16 fielders – was a minor leaguer. The Dodgers lost to the Giants, 12-4, and are now 6-1. Christian Romero made his first appearance of the pre-season. He pitched a third of an inning. He gave up three hits, five runs, one home run, walked two and struck out one. His earned run average – brace yourself – is 108.00!
