I suspect the '25 to rent a car' is something that changed in recent years? Like 21 for tobacco:

On Dec. 20, 2019, the President signed legislation amending the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and raising the federal minimum age for sale of tobacco products from 18 to 21 years.

That may be true of tobacco, but I remember the 25 thing from a long time ago.

I've said this b4 but its a thing down here. We have brightline train service and people seem to get hit by them a lot.

If ur an adult human and get hit by a train it's ur own fault. It's not that hard to avoid a fucking train. They're on a set path after all.

If the crossings are decently marked with the lights and gates, it's usually the person that gets hit that wasn't paying attention or was trying to beat it across the tracks.

Here in Toronto, they have jumpers on the subway tracks all the time. They always pick rush hour. Why not do it Sunday night @ 10PM? It's sometimes a bit off putting to see the sawdust on the track bed sometimes.

Freedom for Hinckley was originally slated to include giving a concert — he plays guitar and sings — in Brooklyn, New York, in July. But the concert venue, the Market Hotel, said Wednesday that it is cancelling the event after experiencing "some very real and worsening threats and hate."

Watching amber on dateline right now. Wow this lady does not come off well. I only saw clips from the trial but listening to her for an hour, after she lost, is really something. There's 20 mins to go but so far she hasn't taken blame for anything at all. She even said lying abt donating 7 million was like how ppl say they bought a house when they really have a mortgage. What a freaking joke. I mean she'd be so much more likeable if she said something like "I made mistakes and at times was abusive and told lies too but it was nothing compared to what Depp did to me". Or something like that.

And u guys know me, if ur a hot enough woman I will always be on ur side and amber is objectively a super fox...so must REALLY be coming off poorly.

Edit: OK so she did just say that she said and did some horrible things (with 0 details) while with Depp so gotta give her a little credit there. Took a freaking hour to get 2 sentences.

I saw that the full interview was on. I stared at her for a minute and moved on.

I've actually seen many of the daily snippets from the Today show. It's mostly her saying she acted terribly, and totally understanding why people side with Depp. And she regretted the whole thing.

Interesting. I def wasn't paying super attention but that wasn't the impression I got at all. She def said she didn't blame the jury and said she understood why ppl sided with Depp (cause he's a beloved actor) but didn't give any context or take any blame herself...beside that like 25 seconds at the end I mentioned.

He just does a better job of handling the public side of things.
