But Sam Kinison was a real commedian. I was not a fan of his yelling shtick but he had his moments and was a pretty smart guy. I was disappointed that Howard would start the show with a long whack packer bit. To be honest, I tuned in and out. Listened to some of Jim Brewer (interrupted by my commute). There's no better impressionist... at least doing Joe Pesci. But Howard seemed to be laboring through the interview. Needed Artie or Robin to laugh or fill in... I don't know what... I love Gary on the wrap-up show or when he steps into the studio to explain something or contribute his knowlege about an event.. I love him on the defensive during a Howard rant. His knowledge of popular music is impressive. But so far he is not strong enough for a sidekick role.

I don't know about you guys but there was to much medicated Pete today. That guy gets old real quick. I turned the channel and every time I turned it back Pete was back on. So i just tuned out.

I always found Pete to be boring. Howard thinks the fans are very interested in him but we're not. I don't him funny to laugh it like Eric the Midget.

That's the problem when only the ass-kissers get through and Howard protects himself from the rest of the calls.

"Oh Howard! We love the show! It's very awesome you're only working three days a week and we get to see you on AGT! If we miss a show, we've got Best of the Week!"
