Doc Hammer (co-author of The Venture Bros TV show) recently joined twitter. Every one of his tweets is about something he did in the toilet. It's performance art.

I’m beginning to hate Facebook more.

Nothing against any of you that are my friends on Facebook, but I could really care less who updates their status.

It’s almost as bad a Twitter telling me what people I follow like

I guess, I don't let that stuff get to me. I guess I never pay attention to status update and Twitter people to follow I also ignore.

All I mostly do on Facebook is read the news feed and same on Twitter, the ones who I follow.

I have mixed feelings about Facebook. Some of the people I follow post the same type of stuff day after day; dog rescue stuff, animal stuff, politics stuff, I'm drinking another beer, I'm at another brewery. Some friends are relentless and I unfollow them, but still remain friends.

But Facebook is a big source of my recreation and entertainment. And I like following old friends who I'd never otherwise get together with. I've actually reconnected (in person) with old school friends, by seeing them on Facebook.

I unfriended all my old friends. People I grew up with, except one person.

I feel that if our friendship is that important, you could call once in a while, and chat. Let me know what’s going on

I'm talking about people I haven't seen since high school, who joined Facebook in the last few years.

Aside from this little corner of the internet, facebook is pretty much my only social media. I connect with family and some friends of varying degrees. I use groups for travel destinations and share experiences etc. While I don't need it, I have no reason to quit it. I don't use twitter (I am not a twit) or snap-chat or Instagram which seem to be more aimed at the brainless millennial generation (or at least the representatives of that generation who are brainless (and front and centre)).

Shit, man! I thought this thread was locked YEARS ago!!

I still maintain a Facebook presence for various reasons, but I spend the majority of my time on Reddit anymore. It's like the old BBS days where you had some level of anonymity, and if there's topic being discussed, chances are there's a subreddit for it.

I use to be on all the social media feeds. But I eliminated most of those accounts.

Now I’m mostly on Twitter and hardly on Facebook and Instagram. Once in a while on Reddit.

This sounds scary. Instead of writing "LOL" and "OMG" and posting pictures of what they're eating for lunch, Facebook users could start concocting evil plans in secret that we wouldn't know about until it's too late. Zuckerberg should rethink this.

Mark Zuckerberg to shift Facebook to a 'privacy-focused' platform
The social network's CEO said that in a few years, encrypted messages would surpass public messaging on services such as Instagram and Facebook.
