I totally forgot to post this. Last Thursday, Tyson spent the entire day at the Eliot, ME shop (a couple of miles from my house), promoting his line of stuff. I kept hearing people say "Mike Tyson's in the store in Eliot", and I'm like "why would he be there, and not in, say, Las Vegas?" Now I know why.

"There's no crying in baseball" – but there's crying in Ontario. In 1998 this ballpark was named in honor of Joe "Jay" Littleton (1923-2003), a World War II veteran and Ontario resident who played in the Pony/Colt League and American Legion Baseball and was a scout for the Dodgers, Angels and Royals. The ballpark was declared a historic landmark in 2003. Littleton's son Gary plans to rebuild it.

If he builds it, they will come.

The driver "was able to self-extricate himself from the truck." Uh, yeah, who else would he "self-extricate"? I know you're all wondering what is the oldest covered bridge in the United States. Note that it is "oldest existing." Uh, yeah, a bridge that no longer exists can't be the oldest.

"A hyphenated word," according to the ProWritingAid website, is a word that contains at least one hyphen." Duh! "Typically, hyphenated words are compound words, which means the hyphen connects two or more words."

The "Schrödinger's cat" thought experiment theorizes that a hypothetical cat can be both alive and dead at the same time. Similarly, a hyphenated word can be both one word and two words at the same time.

My head hurts.
