The Principle's 7:45 am announcement at the Elementary School a half block from our house. I can hear it from my backyard. Right now, I have to crack open the back deck door to listen.
Growing up, we lived one street back from the high school. When I attended high school, I'd always hear the 1st period warning bell from my house.

I saw a You Tube video about Aldi. The best day to go is Wednesday because everything is re stocked Tuesday night. I went early this morning and it was true.
All the berries and vegetables were fully stocked. I picked up some raspberry, asparagus and avocado at a good price. Also some grass feed cheese, and Millville Toaster Pastries. It will be a nice Midnight snack.

Dislike:
Those plastic bags in the produce section to put your vegetables in. Everyone makes it look so easy but I can never get mine to open. At least not without a fight.

I spit on my hands. The water will dissipate the static electricity and allow the bag to open much easier.

In a classic Candid Camera stunt, an entire roll of plastic bags was heat-sealed so none would open. The complete video is not on YouTube but here is an excerpt:

So everyone who shops where you shop has to wear gloves because of your behavior. Sounds reasonable.
I don't care what they do. And if it was covid, it would be on my hand with our without my saliva if I had it. And it would only apply if they touched something I had also touched which isn't really that much other than the cart.

Another Dislike:

When squirrels cross the street and are 3/4 across then they see my car coming and turn around and go back to start over again. Makes me feel bad.
Yeah, I guess squirrels hear the sound and can't figure out which way to go. And they always seem to aim for under your car.

Around us, the deer seem to be pretty adept at figuring out what the cars are doing. They will wait, or pause, before they cross. Turkeys are kind of in between those two. They seem to be aware of when they are in the way of cars, but they have the whole family crossing, so they just go.

You have good deer. One night driving home from work, I almost run into a deer leaving and just as I settled in and was almost home another deer cut in front of me. But I had a deer pose for me the other day when I was walking. But I also saw that they are building the first home back in the wooded area three blocks from our place. I thought it would be another year before they would start building. That's a dislike for me.

Then there's those Canadian Geese all over the place. One of them hissed at me the other day and I didn't do anything. They have a big family that crosses the main road in our area heading to the post office crossing from ponds between one apartment complex to the other. And they just did construction on that road last year. I said they should have built a bridge for those birds to cross.

One time a deer crossed in front of me, I had come to a complete stop. Once the deer was off the road and at the tree line of the woods, I started moving forward slowly. All of a sudden the deer perked up, ran toward my car, was right next to it (its leg kicked my door), then ran out forward in front of my car then bolted into the woods. All within a matter of about 10 seconds.

Swedish taxonomist Carl Linnaeus formally described and named the Canada goose (Branta canadensis) in 1758 in the 10th edition of Systema Naturae. Branta is the Old Norse word for "burnt," a reference to the goose's black color. The goose is named after Canada due to its primary breeding region. The "John Canada" story is an urban legend. This is from Grammarphobia:

"We’ve come across several theories about why English speakers generally prefer the term 'Canada goose' to 'Canadian goose.' The silliest one is that John Canada – described variously as an ornithologist, a taxonomist or a taxidermist – named the bird for himself. We haven’t found a shred of evidence to confirm this or that such a person even existed."
