The first three are on my 500+ fav songs of all ever.

(My son and) I can't hear the fifth one without singing the 'literal video' version. "Awkward backwards waaaalk through construction site. Voice real hiiiiigh!"

#125 - Warren Zevon - Lawyers, Guns and Money

The king of weirdo rock, whose absence from the Rock Hall of Fame is one of the many reasons it's dead to HecticArt.

#124 - Nails - 88 Lines about 44 Women

Heard this on First Wave during lunch today and had major flashbacks!

#123 - Cowboy Junkies - A Common Disaster

A favorite from a favorite.

#122 - Nine Inch Nails - Head Like A Hole

One band that came out in between Hair Metal and Grunge. A welcome relief from the Wingers of the world.

#121 - Rage Against the Machine - Guerrilla Radio

overall I'm not a Cornell/Soundgarden fan at all. I'm in the minority when I say this, but as soon as his voice goes into the higher register, it's like nails on a chalkboard to me
Earlier today, Stern (a replay of earlier this week) said there are several John Lennon tribute songs on the SXM app. He played a clip of Chris Cornell doing "Imagine" and I was cringing the entire time. It was actually painful to my ears and hurtful to my heart. Again, I know I'm in the minority on this. But personally, I thought it was absolutely dreadful.

I dig em all. It’s pretty much increasing order as they are posted.
Id never seen that Rage video before. It’s pretty trippy!

#120 - Stevie Ray Vaughan - Riviera Paradise

Nice one to end a Friday.

#119 - Dave Brubeck - Take Five

Memories of my dad's old records (before he gave all of them away to my sister, EXCEPT Elvis' debut album, in Near mint condition from 1956).

#118 - Vince Guaraldi Trio - Linus and Lucy

#117 - Enya - Orinoco Flow

Sounds amazing on a surround sound system.

#116 - Natalie Merchant - Life is Sweet

One of the prettiest voices in Rock. Easy on the eyes too!

#115 - The Box Tops - The Letter

One of the memorable songs from my parents' Oldies station. Been a favorite for years.

#114 - Led Zeppelin - Good Times, Bad Times

Not much I need to say here.

#113 - Doobie Brothers - Takin' it to the Streets

Arguments all day about which version of the Doobies was better, here's my contribution.

#112 - J. Geils Band - Centerfold

Memories of the video on heavy rotation on MTV (kids, ask your parents!)

#111 - Clash - Rock the Casbah

One of the few videos that prominently features a sheik and an armadillo!

I know this one, but don't know how where when or why.
#118 - Vince Guaraldi Trio - Linus and Lucy
Love it! Especially love hearing my son play it on the piano. It's a very difficult song, but he struggles through it.

We're Down to the Last 5!!

#105 - Metallica - Enter Sandman

From the time where they went from the biggest metal band to the biggest band PERIOD thanks in part to this album (and before Napster!)

#104 - Nirvana - Smells like Teen Spirit

You had to figure it'd be in here somewhere right?

#103 - Santana feat. Rob Thomas - Smooth

Count me as one of the 8 million plus that went out and got the album after hearing this one.

#102 - Go-Go's - We Got the Beat

Belinda Carlisle to this day is still a stone-cold fox!

#101 - The Cars - Moving in Stereo

We're 101st, We're 101st, We're 101st!

Me too, which makes sense, as I have a decent jazz collection and grew up playing jazz. But my older daughter couldn't stand that album, and it was hard to get away from.
