First time hearing this one. Just looked it up, it's not that old (compared to most of his stuff). Released in 2002. I liked his song "Walk Us Uptown" in 2013 (with The Roots).

Had a real WTF moment when I was watching MTV and the video for "Epic" came on. Started looking into the band's catalogue a little further and liking what I heard. This one became a favorite. Funk Metal at it's finest!

I can't find anything on the internet about this, but I recall the previous video ("Epic") had a fish dying at the end. When the band was asked about it, one of the band members replied something like, "Things die. Get over it." Animal activists went nuts, protesting. The next thing I remember seeing months later was the video for this song (you posted above) with the exploding fish at the end. I remember thinking, "This is probably the band's response to those animal activists." Sadly I can't confirm any of this. But that's what my dusty brain reports anyway!
