All I wanted was some steak
I think he means one DRC member's house to the left/right. That would put you in either Toledo or Glendale. To the right, Kansas. To the left, Utah. Do I get a third choice?

He became a vice president of the media company he works for, PMM LLC. Shockingly, he's one of two people pictured on their website. So he's doing ok.Thornton's a nice area, especially up near Hunter's Glen which is the rich part of town.

Well, we don't have a lot of hills, and we don't have any Publix, so you might do OK here.Thornton's a nice area, especially up near Hunter's Glen which is the rich part of town.
I was thinking we can go clockwise if that works for you.Well I can't really go much to the right so I guess I'll do North or West. Besides right now, New Orleans seems like it would be a fun city to live near. Second choice would be Maine. I miss the snow sometimes (when you don't have to drive in it) but how far are you from a major city? I assume Boston is the closest? I like scenic but also don't want to be much more than an hour from a major city. And don't say Portland, that doesn't count.
I've been all over the country, covered a good bit of Europe, a few parts of Canada, and spent a hot minute in Mexico.Well I'm glad people like where they live. I liked New Jersey, and they certainly get their share of crap. But I need to be on the coast.
When we did that all-inclusive trip to Riviera Maya Mexico about 6 years ago, we spent the entire week with a couple from London, outside of Toronto. They were great.
The restaurants are awesome. I'd go back for dinner tomorrow. Well, maybe in a couple of months.New Orleans seems like it would be a fun city to live near.
That could be a federal crime. I wouldn’t advise it in any community.Colorado Springs you can't swing a dead cat in the air without hitting a military contractor.
Vermont to my left. Maine to my right. NH is sleepy enough, I don't want to take another step away from the modern world. We all move one to the right or left.
I lived there for a few years as a kid. Great place to live!I'm one town from Portsmouth NH.
Same here, we have the ocean as a temperature moderator. We don't get hurricanes, earthquakes, forest fires, droughts, or floods. Summers aren't brutally hot, and winters aren't ridiculously cold. We don't have alligators, scorpions, or flying cockroaches.
Same. But I have to drive everywhere.
Wow, I'm surprised you'd even associate yourself with us.Same.
When I grew up in Lynnfield MA
Ha yes I'm aware of the rep. We bought the cheapest house in town. It was filthy, not maintained and falling apart. My parents were looking for a good school system and nice neighborhood. They were also able to fix it up, clean it up and sell it for a lot more than they bought it!Wow, I'm surprised you'd even associate yourself with us.![]()
Wow sorry man. I hope for the best on the inside of it for you.First real update on my house.
The roof is still on which is a positive thought. You can be hopeful for not too much water damage.First real update on my house. Severe roof damage. Shingles are all gone, it's down to the paper covering the plywood. So no telling how much water got in. Fence is gone. New shed held up fine. Water heater is keeled over.
Not in a hurry to return. No electricity, water, gas, and spotty cell phone coverage. Think we'll stay in hotels for a while longer....
It sounds like the house is standing, which is good. I saw a whole bunch of flattened stuff there. Miguel Almaguer from NBC news was actually reporting from your town. I imagine this interrupts everyone's lives: you can't work, no start of school, lots of people have no place to live, and some have lost everything. I think the closest I've experienced was the ice storm of 2008, some people had no power for 3 weeks. But still nothing like this.First real update on my house. Severe roof damage.
