Frames are really nice, but pretty expensive.

I'm not willing to pay that kind of money.
The competition catches up relatively quickly, prices drop, and tech becomes out of date too quickly.
I don't need to be one of the first people to have the latest and greatest toys.

And the picture was not as good with the Fire Stick.

YES!!!!!!!! I had the same issue.

I tried adjusting the TV settings and that did nothing. It took a while but I eventually figured out that in the Fire Stick settings, if you switch the HDR from "always on" (which apparently is the default) to "adaptive" the picture goes back to normal and is as crisp as I was used to before getting the dongle.

I don't really care to read all about how HDR works.....I guess when a show or game or whatever is compatible with it, HDR makes the picture look so much better cuz when I get that little pop-up on the top left of the screen before a movie saying that it's in HDR and other bullshit, it always looks better than just regular 4K YouTube. I assume that if it's not an HDR video and HDR is always on somehow that makes it have muted tones and look unpleasant.

I never got that far, but it's good that you did. Once we improved our wifi signal, we were able to use the TV settings without needing the Fire Stick.

good news for me. My smart tv in the living room (Vizio) has updated to the latest Sirius XM app like my phone and room. Before it was limited to like 2.0 radio options but now, I have everything. Wine Bar, Lo-Fi Cafe, Lisa Loeb and all the mix's I like to explore. And the older Howard interviews should be available. Sometimes I would try to choose something, and it just would do anything
