Goody's Fast Pain Relief 500 Thoughts / Predictions

Well, it's been raining all day here, and I'm an hour southwest from Martinsville, so qualifying is cancelled, and Jeff Gordon is on the pole! And I've got him to win!

Saturday is going to be even worse, with a 100% chance of rain, and thunderstorms, so don't expect much racing action then either... Sunday on the other hand should be fine

Here's my picks:

Jeff Gordon 1
Denny Hamlin 2

Mark Martin 11
Dale Earnhardt Jr. 12

Great truck racing there! Great racing period.

IMO, hot dogs should not be that color but they are good & cheap. I think we are going as well. Martinsville makes for a good chase race.

Its funny how different regions can be SO different. I didnt know hotdogs were anything other than red until I was grown! :Smiley_wink:

Great pass on Hamlin indeed. However, I'm tired of seeing JJ win LOL.. but I can't fault him for getting it done though. It just mad the last 10 laps boring and I didn't even bother with the post race.
I've been in an anyone but Johnson mode since last year.
At least I should have done well in Yahoo fantasy this week.

Ouch! Well I'm glad my driver got to Victory lane :buttrock: Some good short track racing

Well, Jeff didn't pull it out, but at least Hendrick won, but I would've been happy with Hamlin... anybody but Kyle, who sucked today :nana:

I can remember going to Daytona back in the 90's and seeing people wearing A.B.E. tee shirts. Anybody But Earnhardt. A few years later I was walking along Georgetown Road heading into the Brickyard, and saw a cardboard stand-up of Jeff Gordon. It was wearing a diaper and had the words "Brooke, I shit myself" scrawled on it.

Dale became an icon after he turned right instead of left several years ago. Darrell was once hated for his on-track stuff (not Digger or boogity boogity). It remains to be seen if Jeff will be embraced as a hero once his days are done.

Right now it is vogue to diss on Kyle. In five years it will be someone different. Perhaps one of the Dillon boys?

:scared:

Dale Jr's only 44 points out of 12th. JPM is 31 points out of 12th...

I wonder if Red Bull is kicking themselves in the ass for letting AJ Allmendinger go...:right:

:)
