Half of my life, I been hiding in the closet. Maybe it's me but back in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's if you told someone that you were gay. They would either beat the shit out of you or worse try and kill you. Because they thought gays were the devil. Now today gays are finally being accepted and their still asses out there who have problems with us.
I was tired of hiding and I knew certain people wouldn't accept me who I am. Like my parents, they are so old school. I tested the waters for a while and asked what were there thoughts. I remember my mom said, "She doesn't like men kissing in front of her." That did bug me a bit. My old man, pretty much kept his mouth shut. A few years went by and I finally told them, my mom didn't believe me for a while and my old man said, "You are no son of mine." That clearly hurt me for years, but after a while I finally got over it. Fast forward now my mom is clearly fine with me and likes my partner. My old man has been dead for nearly 10 years and I'm glad he is out of my life.
Basically growing up, some people called me inappropriate names and hopefully karma is doing stuff to them now. Today, that crap doesn't bother me anymore. If people still have problems with gays being a sin. That's there problem and they will simply fry in hell!
