It's funny you say that & have a Cornhusker avatar.

Most people don't think of it, but Nebraska is the most backwards, fucked up state in the Union, with the exception of Omaha.

They are very high on the Mosaic Law list.

The only difference with Nebraska & the deep south, Nebraska didn't have to deal with slavery, but they do have race issues.

Their neighbors to the northeast, east, & south are more fair minded than they are.

I had a truck driver tell me that there are more people in Western Nebraska that marry their cousin's than they do in the South.

Given the choice between living in Alabama or Nebraska, I'd take Alabama any day of the week, month, year, or lifetime.

Also, it's not so much the poor (white, black, brown) trash that you have to worry so much about, it's the rich folk with political influence.

They are the once who sway policy & laws. They are the ones who spread bigotry.

Most poor people in the South have a more live & let live attitude.
 
Maybe people should do more research before voting. Even then no candidate will ever be perfect and agree with everything a person believes in.

I will never understand racists,bigots and people that just hate. I have backwoods idiot family members that are racist. They wouldn't come to our wedding because my best man was black. I'm sure if he would have been gay the wouldn't have either. I didn't want to invite them anyway. My wife has a huge forgiving heart and asked to try.

I can't even have a conversation with them. Some people will never change.

I served with people from the South and Alabama. Not a damn thing wrong with either. They get the same bull shit stereotype that I used to get for being from West by God Virginia. Their are good and bad people everywhere.

You can go fuck yourself too. I lived a major part of my life in Nebraska, I think I know better than some guy from California how Nebraskans are. If you ask me California has more backwoods asshole racists and bigots than anywhere I've ever been.

Was your aim to come in here and piss me off? If so mission accomplished. Insult my friends and family in a state full of nice, hard working, educated people. There is no more racist or homophobic people there than anywhere else. So again, go fuck youself.

I don't know what state that is. Might be Texas. I wouldn't be offended, or surprised, if that were true.
