The meals at home are fantastic, because my wife learned from the generations of family before her (I can grill, that's it). Because of that, she and her parents (and their parents) aren't into fast food. And since she does all the cooking, and planning, and food shopping etc, she deserves something good when she goes out. We have dinner out only once a week, and sometimes lunch or (rarely) breakfast. One night a week we have leftovers.Does that mean that the 5 meals at home aren't decent?
During the week when we don't cook at home, we're usually just looking for something quick.
Weekends, when we don't cook, we try to hit nicer locally owned restaurants.
I'm traveling again this week, so it's going to be a lot of restaurants. Hopefully very few fast foods. The meals at home are fantastic, because my wife learned from the generations of family before her (I can grill, that's it). Fast Food is poison. Avoid at all cost!!!
So far, the closest thing has been a Panera. The rest has been local places.
