I'm gonna do one last shake-up and give two comic strips one last chance again for the sweet 16 17 slot. For this weekend only is a last survival match.

Fox Trot was a daily strip from 1988 to 2006. Since 2007, it appears only on Sundays. In a 2016 Fox Trot strip, Jason and Paige made fun of Pearls Before Swine. A year later, Stephan Pastis stole Bill Amend's artwork and changed the dialogue:

On the same Sunday that the above strip appeared, Fox Trot made reference to Pastis' supposed revenge – but it is obvious the two cartoonists had collaborated.

Clearly Dilbert has run away with the votes. Now Dilbert is in the Sweet 17 and has to face in a tough match-up in order to survive in this madness.

Fox Trot wasn't one that ran in the local fish wrapper when I used to read the comics, so it was never one I gravitated to.
I picked Peanuts over Dilbert the first time mostly because Peanuts was the one I grew up with. Dilbert didn't come along till later.
They were both great, but I went with Peanuts for nostalgia.
