In general, I haven't thought much about football this summer. But it's time to start thinking about football
I just received the settings memo. If I understand right, we will have 3 Flex positions to draft instead of one. 1 running back and 1 receiver instead of 2 each
Right, hope nobody minds. The trend now is less emphasis on the running game, so forcing two starting running backs is kind of old school. Less forced positions and more flex.
I was just reading in the Wiki that the roots of Fantasy Football go back all the way to 1963. I just heard of it in the last few years.

Geez I completely forgot the draft was tonight. A lot going on, father in law passed away during the week. Who knows, sometimes you do okay with an auto drafted team.

According to Yahoo, I think I had my best draft grade since we have been doing DRC fantasy.
Which clearly means I will have my worst season in the 17 year history of our league.

This is the first year I did the draft and will be managing my team with a new laptop. My other laptop crashed.
How do you like your autodraft team? Is it any good? I haven't looked at anybody else's team yet.

Even without any important event happening in my, I would have forgotten too but I set an Alexa reminder for 7:55 p.m. Eastern when I first saw your post about our draft time. Alexa actually kind of scared me yesterday when it went off but way to go me, being responsible about shit that doesn't really matter.
It was mostly okay. I looked at each position to see if I can upgrade, but there wasn't much better available than what I already had.
Exception being the two defensive player positions. I totally needed to replace the two they gave me.

I had to replace one of my defenders too. I was rushing and I wanted to get the guy which was second on the list and my finger slipped and I got the first. He was projected to get 0 points and we can't have that.
I really thought I had a big enough lead to go 1-0 with only the defense enough for my opponent but turns out I didn't good old 0-1. And this week the projection has me basically tied. So we'll see what happens. Got to make some tweaks I guess.
