Prime video has the "Free to Me" section
I'll have to look for that. Thanks.
I usually just tell Alexa to play 90's Rock or Jam Bands or Classic Rock
These NEVER work well for me. Partially because I'm picky. But mostly because they LIE. The last time I told Alexa to play 'new rock' by the fourth song I was getting songs from the 80s and 90s. The last time I used Pandora, they were just as far off. Here's a great screenshot someone else took of Pandora playing "Metal".

Haha! When I ordered my new phone, I had to look at/change my plan, so I'd get 5g service. So I go into the "my plan" menu on the Verizon site, and for some odd reason, the phone Mrs. Scotch is using was already put on a "recommended" 5g plan, which we're paying an extra $10 a month for. She has a 4g phone.

However, I noticed that the "recommended" plan gives us Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ for free! We didn't even know that. Over the past few months, we paid to have both Disney+ and Hulu at various times.

I'll be putting the 5g plan on my new phone, and taking it off of hers. So we should still get the free services.

Then I go back to that playlist a few months later and 1/3 of the songs are greyed-out (no longer available). It's a mess.
The Mrs. gets pissed off about that all the time. She adds music she likes and a few months later they take it away from her.
Yet, she doesn't get why I still buy my music to keep a copy of.

:redalert: VIZIO JUST ADDED THE HBO MAX APP TO THEIR HOME SCREEN!!! :redalert:

This is huge. Not like it was all that difficult to just run it through my Series X or cast it from my phone but this cuts out a step which is nice.

Apple TV has Season 2 of The Morning Show on September 17th. That will be a good one
We'll have to decide what to do about that. We saw season 1, but getting Apple TV in a non-Apple household was difficult. However, canceling Apple TV in a non-Apple household was damn near impossible!

I've pretty much given up on the idea of linear-Live TV. Most of the channels I used to watch are now either reality or reruns. ESPN's quality has gone done considerably since the days of Patrick, Olbermann, Steiner and Ley. And it seems like the leagues are making it so much harder to follow YOUR team without resorting to cable.

I have Hulu (although I'm questioning whether or not to keep subscribing), Disney+, Apple TV+ and HBO Max. That seems to be good enough.

Caught Season 1, episode 1 of Ted Lasso tonight. Not bad. Also learned something I didn’t know, produced by Bill Lawrence who also produced “Scrubs”, a personal favorite.

That explains a lot about the way the episodes are structured. and why I like it too.

Also since Amazon let me have the student rate back for Prime, Amazon Video is back in the rotation.

Canceled Hulu and Disney Plus. Nothing on either service that interests me at the moment, although I might get Disney plus back soon.

Now just have Amazon Video, HBO Max (really want to see that Many Saints of Newark movie) and Apple TV+. I'll stick with those for a while.

'The Problem with Jon Stewart' is pretty good.

Caught the first episode today, enjoyed the first segment and the panel discussion, and like that it isn't completely just like the Daily Show. Sort of like TDS and Meet the Press. Still funny in parts (would like to see more of that), but the discussion was pretty riveting too.
