Concerts you have attended?

Dood!
You're gettin it done!

I've seen a few of those bands pre-covid.

I'd love to see Rammstein. They are supposed to put on a bonkers show.
I didn’t buy tickets to see Rammstein. A friend of mine did, and he gave me one. They were floor tickets, but I didn’t stay on the floor. I decided to watch the show from the concourse.

It was a good show. I wouldn’t go out of my way to see them again, tho

I’m especially looking forward to seeing The Foo Fighters and The Pretenders. I had tickets to see them in 2022, but Taylor Hawkins died, so they canceled the tour. I also had tickets to see Journey with The Pretenders in 2020, but Covid nixed that tour.

I saw the Pretenders. They opened for someone. It was a good show.

Someone named Queensryche, but they didn’t play any songs I liked
Silent Lucidity, Another Rainy Night, Anybody Listening, Jet City Woman, Eyes Of A Stranger, I Don't Believe In Love.

I'd love to see Rammstein. They are supposed to put on a bonkers show.
On June 5, 1999 in Worcester, Rammstein performed an outrageously provocative stage stunt. Two members would wake up in jail...

Performed live, the song "Buch Dich" (bend over) played out in a graphic pageantry of BDSM, where frontman Till Lindemann simulated sodomising keyboardist Christian “Flake” Lorenz, who would scamper about the stage on all fours while wearing a leash. Never one for half-measures, Lindemann would pull a fake but realistic-looking phallus from his pants and use it to animatedly squirt liquid all over Flake, the audience and himself.

Here’s the Setlist for that show. Queensrÿche Setlist at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center, Mankato

I would have been more interested in seeing them if they would have at least played Silent Lucidity and Jet City Woman, but they did not.

Say what you want about the name, that was a the loudest concert I’d been to. It was so loud, my teeth hurt. When I saw Judas Priest last month, they played at the Armory. Great place for a show, not as loud, but with limited seating. I had to walk around because I couldn’t stand in one place for a long stretch of time.

Metallica is playing on August 16th and 18th. I’m going to see Green Day and the Smashing Pumpkins are playing on 8/17. Def Leppard and Journey are playing on 8/19. I’d love to go to four days straight of concerts, but right now, I can only do the 8/17 show.

Empire, Mindcrime, and Stranger are all bigger songs, but why they wouldn't play Lucidity and Jet City doesn't make a lot of sense.

I bought four tickets to the Foo Fighters concert on July 28th, and thus far it’s only me and my friend Kelly that are going. If any of you think you'll be in Minneapolis that day, let me know and you can come with us. Otherwise, I’ll have to put those tickets up for sale about a week before the concert

at least played Silent Lucidity and Jet City Woman, but they did not.
Silent Lucidity is their best known song to the masses I would think. Their only entry on the Hot 100 and it went to #9. It was all over the radio for months. Not playing Silent, Jet and Listening tells me they don't want to play the songs the mainstream audience would know best, they have another agenda.

It was only an 11 song set, so maybe Silent was too long or too slow? :dunno1

I also wonder which version of Queensryche it was on tour. Could the singer hit those notes?

I also thought it was weird that they didn't play their biggest hit AND only 1 track from their biggest album. But then I noticed they were opening for Priest, so the more metal setlist suddenly made more sense. 4 tracks from "The Warning", which surprised me.

When I saw Bowie, the only hits he played were the ones that other bands covered, Man Who Sold The World, Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) and one other.
I think he only wanted to remind people that he wrote them.

I did give this some thought. I will be flying into Saskatoon, SK the morning of the 28th. But the logistics don't work right. I also would not mind seeing Foo Fighters but they aren't a must see for me.

I was asleep when tickets went on sale to the general public. None of the cheap seats are left. I guess I’m gonna have to see if I can’t find someone will to trade two Cyndi Lauper tickets for two Foo Fighters tickets
