Concerts you have attended?

Didn't go to many, but did go to some notable ones:
1977 - Todd Rundgren's Utopia @ Asbury Park Convention Center (night of the NYC blackout)
1977 - Led Zeppelin @ Madison Square Garden (infamous for the classic "Swan Song" tee)
1980 - The Who @ Philadelphia Spectrum (tour infamous for the tragedy in Cincinnati)
Several "others" at CBGB's during the early 80's.

Also remember seeing Rick Derringer at some club in Asbury Park in the late 70's that used to name itself after Eagles albums (a la "Hotel California"). It was about a block or two away from the Stone Pony, but off the main strip. Damned if I can remember when or the name of the club. Place was definitely oversold and a fire hazard just waiting to happen.

WAY too many to list but my most memorable would have to be David Byrne at Toad's Place New Haven CT and Seal also at Toad's. The Seal show was his first ever US Show and it was INCREDIBLE.

Heh - that's them  They just played a show here last month - seems they do it every year or two. Last one I saw was about 4 years ago. Cool bunch of guys. Too bad they didn't get more famous.

Oh yeah, almost forgot:
Iggy Pop
The Sugarcubes

Man how could I forget!! I saw Iggy Pop at The Channel in Boston in 88. They made a live album out of it. Iggy was hanging upside down from a pipe in the ceiling singing "I wish life could be Swedish magazines" from Five Foot One. Easily one of the greatest shows ever.

I saw X open up for Warren Zevon in the 80's. We only went to see X and decided to stay for Zevon. Good thing, cause he blew the roof off the Orpheum Theater. Great show.

My wife reminds me we saw Sha Na Na before they became "vintage". We saw them while I was in school a couple years after they were at Woodstock. We sat close enough to the stage to get hair grease on us. It was part of the act.

Isn't YouTube wonderful?

Thought it time to dust off this old thread, this year I'm going to couple of concerts the Mayhem Fest 2012 and I just landed Rammstein tickets. I like there music and I heard Rammstein puts on a pretty good show, I can't wait to see these concerts!

Got tickets to see Crosby, Stills, & Nash later this summer...

I heard they were touring again. Coming to Red Rocks this year. MAN I have to see some concerts soon. Depends on how the money situation is.

Rammstein is a probably for me next month. Also have tickets for:
Iron Maiden
Billy Bragg
Jonathan Richman

Considering Overkill next week, too. Megadeth/Rob Zombie in Grand Rapids in May is also a possibility, but that depends on the wife's work schedule (she is a Zombie fan).

Great spring, and looking to be a good summer this year!

Great shows in your neighborhood. Where U at?

I knew that. We've talked about that sushi place in Canton (I think.)
And you did say GR. That shot right past me.
Where is Rammstein playing?

I've been to three concerts in my life:

My 1st concert was Whitesnake with Great White opening the show at the Old McNichols arena (now a parking lot for the new Broncos stadium).

Years after that was the Eagles on the 'Hell Freezes Over' tour (no opening act.)

And a few weeks after that, R.E.M. (with Bill Berry, a few weeks after the aneurysm) with Sonic Youth opening the show. Sonic Youth sucked. R.E.M. would have blown the roof off the place if wasn't an outdoor amphitheater.

My one regret, I've lived in Colorado 34 of my 37 years, not once have I been to a Red Rocks show. Gotta change that one of these days.

Loverboy
April Wine
Pat Benetar (Twice)
REO Speedwagon (Twice)
Rolling Stones
Journey
Bryan Adams
Heart (Twice)
Peter Frampton
Yes
Hank Williams Jr.
Cyndi Lauper
Rush
Starship
Pointer Sisters
Styx
Imogen Heap

I'm sure I'm forgetting a few
