Haha. The townhouse he moved into is really nice, and it has a bedroom for his son and daughter when they visit. He definitely could find space for the albums if he wanted. But he's set-up his new sound system, and there's no turntable. His place is very clean, contemporary, and sparse. Are you sure he wasn't just loaning them to you until his divorce is final?
Part of it is me wanting to be able to see and find things. But there's also the WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor). She's looking for any excuse to have me get rid of the albums.I commend you for keeping the albums so organized. My CDs and LPs were alphabetized at one point. Then I met my wife and her teenager. That ended the organization.
BTW, back when my kids started driving, and they'd ask to "borrow" CDs for the car, that never went well. Months later, I'd be looking for a CD I know I owned, and they'd say "I don't know", or "I loaned it to a friend", or "it should be in this case". On multiple occasions, I got the CDs back, and then at some point later, I go to put it on the stereo, and there's no CD in the case! That happened once when a car got totaled and towed away, with my CD still in the player.
