"Comic-Con Radio" to Launch on SiriusXM

Sirius XM Radio announced today that, in association with*Comic-Con International, *it will launch “Comic-Con Radio,” the four-day channel featuring interviews, panels, fan reactions and more live from this year’s*Comic-Con International, the largest comic book and popular arts convention in the world.

“Comic-Con Radio” will air*Thursday, July 21*at*6:00 pm ET*through*Monday, July 25*at*3:00 am ET*on channel 141 and Comedy Showcase on SiriusXM Internet Radio from*Comic-Con International*at the*San Diego*Convention Center.

The limited-run channel, which will be hosted by SiriusXM Radio on-air personalities Mark Says Hi!,*Kim Alexander*and*Dave Ziemer, will feature interviews with Comic-Con attendees, including celebrities, actors, writers, artists and fans.

SiriusXM listeners will also hear discussions from various panels throughout the event.

Comic-Con is the largest comics convention of its kind and is part of*Comic-Con International*(CCI), a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to creating awareness of, and appreciation for, comics and related popular art forms. The organization achieves its mission primarily through the presentation of conventions and events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.

A lot more than comic books- this might actually be very interesting. This year they will have panels discussing some great upcoming movies & TV shows. Some of my favorite TV shows (Falling Skies, Walking Dead, Alphas, Fringe, Terra Nova & MTV's new season of Beavis & Butthead!) will be featured with discussions of what to expect on the upcoming new season.

NEW YORK, July 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that, in association with Comic-Con International, it will launch "Comic-Con Radio," the four-day channel featuring interviews, panels, fan reactions and more from this year's San Diego Comic-Con, the largest comic book and popular arts convention in the world.

"Comic-Con Radio" will air Thursday, July 12 at 6:00 pm ET through Monday, July 16 at 3:00 am ET on Sirius channel 123 and XM channel 142, online on channel 850 and through the SiriusXM Internet Radio App for smartphones and mobile devices, from Comic-Con International at the San Diego Convention Center.

The limited-run channel will feature interviews with Comic-Con attendees, including celebrities, actors, writers, artists and fans.

SiriusXM's Rotten Tomatoes™ Radio—a show from the web's most popular movie destination featuring news, reviews and interviews hosted by Rotten Tomatoes' Editor-in-Chief Matt Atchity and his editorial staff—will broadcast a special edition of the weekly show from Comic-Con on Thursday, July 12 at 6:00 pm ET on SiriusXM Stars Too ch. 104, with encore presentations airing Friday, July 13 at 6:00 am and 7:00 pm, and Saturday, July 14 at 8:00 am and 4:00 pm (all times ET).
