His weekly country music series The Tommy Hunter Show aired on CBC from 1965 to 1992.

I had no idea that was the name of a single band, until you mentioned it. Wow.

Stefan Gordy, (a grandson of Motown founder Berry Gordy III) and Skyler Gordy (Stefan's nephew) formed LMFAO in 2006. Their Party Rock Anthem, which featured British singer Lauren Bennett, was number one for four weeks in the UK in April-May 2011 and number one for six weeks in the United States in July-August 2011. LMFAO had another number-one hit with Sexy & I Know It In January 2012 and broke up later that year.
