Third. I remember Shelley Duvall as Olive Oyl in Popeye and as Jenny Wilcox in Suburban Commando, a hilarious film starring Hulk Hogan as an extraterrestrial warrior who crash-lands on earth. Shelley doesn't appear in the preview. New Line Cinema apparently didn't consider her to be very important.

Dave Loggins released 14 solo singles between 1972 and 1981. Only two charted. Please Come To Boston got to #5 on the Hot 100 in August 1974. Someday got to #57 four months later. Loggins wrote and recorded Pieces Of April for his 1972 debut album Personal Belongings, released by Vanguard Records. A version by Three Dog Night reached #19 on the Hot 100 in January 1973. While it was climbing the charts, Loggins' original was released as a single. (He would record a new version in 1979 for Epic. It, too. was released as a single.) In December 1984, Anne Murray and Dave Loggins had a number-one country hit with Nobody Loves Me Like You Do. In September 1985, Gus Hardin (real name: Carolyn Ann Blankenship) and Dave Loggins reached #72 on the country chart with Just As Long As I Have You.

I heard about this and I read he died in a Chase Bank parking lot somewhere in Peoria, AZ. The next city over from me. So he lived and died somewhere near me. That's a bit sad.

My late wife Teri was a Seattle Mariners fan. I became a Mariners fan because of Teri. We went to many games in Oakland, Anaheim and Seattle and every March we would see two or three of their spring training games at the Peoria Sports Complex. The San Diego Padres also play there. And at every game we would both get a lemon frozen drink from the Eegee's vendor. Mmm boy! There are 33 Eegee's restaurants in Arizona. They are named for the initials of founders Ed Irving and Bob Greenberg.
