Second. Cobbs played Lewis Coleman in 13 episodes of I'll Fly Away (1991-93) and Tony the bus driver in nine episodes of The Drew Carey Show (2002-04). He appeared in more than 100 movies and TV movies including Ed, Fluke, Paulie, Air Bud, Silkwood, Demolition Man, Hope Floats, New Jack City, Oz The Great & Powerful, The Muppets, The Cotton Club and The Color Of Money

In my favorite Tom Hanks movie, That Thing You Do!, Cobbs played jazz pianist Del Paxton.

"Folk rock duo"? "Duo"? Nay, say I. Joe Egan, Gerry Rafferty, Roger Brown, Rab Noakes and Iain Campbell formed Stealers Wheel in 1972 in Paisley, Scotland. There were several lineup changes before the band broke up in 1975. In May 1973, they reached #6 on the Hot 100 and #8 in the UK with Stuck In The Middle With You. In March 1974, they got to #29 on the Hot 100 and #25 in the UK with Star. Three of the later members formed a new short-lived Stealers Wheel in 2008.

I love this clip of the Statler Brothers' Harold Reid explaining how he tried to help the police get a suspect out of a building by blasting Oak Ridge Boys songs. Joe and the rest of the group walk out on stage – and they are not happy.
