Neil Diamond recorded You Don't Bring Me Flowers in 1977. Barbra Streisand recorded You Don't Bring Me Flowers in 1978. Then they recorded a duet version of the song. It was a number-one hit in December 1978 but is now one of the most-hated songs of all time. Could there possibly be a worse version of the song? Yes. Yes, there is. Here is Liberace:, thinking he can sing:

Why are you torturing me with this song in every thread? There is no good version of this song.

"Hey, kids, what time is it?" It's time to add Buffalo Bob Smith to this thread. Did he really think he could sing? Well, at least he tried. Buffalo Bob, born Robert Schmidt in Buffalo, New York, hosted The Howdy Doody Show from 1947 to 1960. He also voiced Howdy Doody for the first seven seasons before being replaced by Allen Swift. The show's theme song, It's Howdy Doody Time, was written by Edward Kean, set to the tune of Ta-ra-ra-Boom-de-ay and sung in each episode by the kids in the "Peanut Gallery."

Buffalo Bob and Howdy Doody recorded the theme for a 1971 EP cleverly titled It's Howdy Doody Time!

Barry Zito is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played 15 seasons in Major League Baseball for the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco Giants. He also told Howard Stern in 2003 he plays guitar and writes songs. I found a couple of them.

What 1950s-60s-70s comic actor can be found in many elevators? Red Buttons.

Red Buttons, born Aaron Chwatt, hosted a 1952-54 television comedy/variety series cleverly known as The Red Buttons Show. Here are both sides of his 1953 single, Strange Things Are Happening (which reached #15 on Billboard's "Best Sellers In Stores" chart) and The Ho Ho Song (which got to #9). His voice, and the songs, are annoying. Very annoying. Among the Elliot Lawrence Orchestra's vocalists were Jack Hunter, Rosalind Patton and Danny Riccardo. They might be part of the chorus on these songs. And they might not.
